Arkas is a company that started its activity in Turkey in the early 1900s. Currently it is a multinational holding company that provides employment for 7300 people in its 66 companies that are operating in many different fields, among which are logistics services that include shipping, road, rail and air; agency services, ship operations, port operations, bunkering, automotive, insurance services, information systems and tourism.
In addition to Turkey, Arkas is operating in 23 countries through 61 offices. Spain is one of the most important markets where Arkas is developing its activity and where Arkas Spain has been operating since 2005 as a shipping agency, representing the group’s shipping lines, which are Arkas Line and EMES Feedering through its three offices located in Valencia which is the head office and the other ones at Barcelona and Castellon.
